Intravenous (IV) fluid drips are continuous infusions, delivered through a small, flexible catheter placed into a vein by specially trained personnel. You may feel a slight pinching during the placement of the IV, but this is temporary and improves in seconds.
Your specially trained Registered Nurse will then tailor your infusion compound to your specific concerns. After the drip is made, it will be hung up to slowly infuse via gravity.
The duration of a single treatment varies from person to person, but typically takes 1 hour, and you get to sit back and relax the whole time!
